Terms of Service

Last updated 14 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and CodeMom LLC (“Weave”, “we”, “us”) for using weavetogether.app and everything it offers (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Who may use Weave

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. The Service is made to be used by an adult together with a child: you are responsible for supervising any child who uses it with you, for the stories you make together, and for what you choose to share.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account, so anyone with access to it can access Weave. Keep it secure, and tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account. One person per account, please — accounts may not be shared or sold.

What the Service does

Weave writes storybooks with an AI model, one chapter at a time, from the ingredients you pick and the choices you make along the way. We work hard to keep every chapter gentle and suitable for readers aged four to eight, but AI writing is not perfect: it may be clumsy, repetitive, or occasionally miss the mark. Please read a chapter before reading it aloud, and use the “change it” step to fix anything you don’t like. Stories are entertainment; they are not advice of any kind.

Plans, payment and renewal

Your first storybook is free. After that, writing more requires Weave Plus, which costs $5/month and includes 10 storybooks per billing period.

What counts as a storybook. A storybook is counted when its first chapter is written. Everything inside it — the directions you choose, the changes you ask for, every later chapter — is included, and you may always finish a storybook you have started, even if your subscription has since ended. Setting up a story in the wizard and saving it as a draft is free. Unused storybooks do not carry over to the next period.

Billing. Payments are taken by Stripe at the start of each monthly period and your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required. If a payment fails we may pause Weave Plus until it succeeds.

Cancelling. You can cancel any time from “Manage billing” in your account menu. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep every story you have made. Except where the law requires otherwise, subscription fees are not refundable for partial periods.

Price changes. If we change the price of Weave Plus we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first if you prefer.

Your stories and your rights

You own what you put in: your ingredients, changes, directions and any cover picture you upload. You must have the right to upload any picture you use as a cover.

To the extent we hold any rights in a storybook the Service writes for you, we assign them to you, so you may read, print, save and share your storybooks as you wish. Because the stories are generated by an AI model, similar text may be produced for other people, and we can’t promise any story is unique.

So that the Service can work, you give us permission to store and process your content, to send it to our AI provider to write chapters, to show it back to you, and to show a story to anyone you give a share link to. We don’t use your stories to train AI models, and we don’t publish them anywhere ourselves.

Acceptable use

When using the Service you agree not to:

  • try to make it write content that is unsuitable for children, hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise harmful, or that infringes anyone’s rights;
  • upload pictures you don’t have the right to use, or that show anyone without their permission;
  • share a story link containing personal details about a child with people you don’t trust;
  • use bots, scripts or other automation, scrape the Service, or work around usage limits;
  • interfere with the Service, probe its security, or reverse engineer it;
  • use the Service for anything unlawful.

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we may apply fair-use limits to keep the Service running well for everyone.

Sharing stories

A share link lets anyone who has it read that story without signing in. Shared stories are unlisted and hidden from search engines, but you decide who receives a link, and you are responsible for what you share.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service at any time, delete any storybook from your shelf, and ask us to delete your account by emailing 20codemom23@gmail.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may change or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice; if we discontinue Weave Plus we will refund any prepaid period you can no longer use.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any story will be suitable for a particular child — and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or US$50 if you have paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer where you live.

You agree to cover us against claims arising from content you upload or share in breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the courts there, unless the consumer protection law where you live gives you the right to bring it at home. Before going to court, please email us — most problems are quicker to fix together.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We will change the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you by email or a notice in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

The small print

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce something straight away, we haven’t given it up. You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the business.
